Terms and Conditions

Attendance

  • Students are expected to attend all lessons that are enrolled into and to attend for the entire duration of the lesson.
  • Students are expected to arrive on time to lessons. If a student is late, they will still be charged the full price for the class.
  • If a student is unable to attend their lesson, notice must be given by SMS, email or call by 10am on a weekday and 8am on the weekend, otherwise the full fee of the class will be charged to the client.

Payment

  • Payments are made via direct debit after the class has been completed. If direct debit is not suitable, another form of payment can be organised with centre management.
  • If any outstanding payments have not been paid, Beyond Tutoring reserves the right to refuse our services for future lessons.
  • As for discounted upfront payments, no refund is available.

Classwork

  • Beyond Tutoring’s group classes follow our own program with content based on the NESA Syllabus. Students who specifically want to be completing work aligning with their school program, including assessments and exam preparation, should contact centre management to arrange a 1-on-1 class.
  • Students are expected to complete classwork in class, and to complete their homework. Failure to complete homework will result in poor outcomes for the student, as well as holding back their classmates.
  • Consistent failure to complete homework may result in a student being de-registered from the tutoring centre.

Professionalism & Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain professional behaviour and conduct within the centre. This includes, but is not limited to: speaking respectfully to tutors; avoiding swearing or foul language; completing their work when asked; not being disruptive in class; maintaining a clean and neat classroom; and respecting other individuals’ physical boundaries.
  • Students are expected to be dressed modestly and respectfully when attending their lessons, out of respect to other patrons of the tutoring centre.
  • No photos are to be taken by students or parents at the centre.
  • By agreeing to these T&Cs, you agree to photos of your child potentially being taken by centre management for advertising purposes on social media platforms. If you do not consent, please contact centre management directly to inform us.
  • Parents should raise any concerns regarding lessons or classwork directly with centre management, rather than with tutors themselves. This will help ensure that a clear line of communication is maintained among the staff, and ensure that students will achieve the best possible outcomes.
